The Ask

The client, SF Travel, sought to attract more business from the ~3 million travelers The US welcomes from China every year. In particular, the client wished particular focus be directed to hotel room bookings and overall brand awareness for San Francisco. Our team coordinated a two-phase cross-platform campaign focused on branding and performance. Phase one kicked off with a partner production starring Kiki Fang, one of the largest travel bloggers in China. Highlighting all the stops from Iconic locations like the golden gate bridge to the relaxing hills of Napa Valley, our team partnered with Kiki to film and edit a series of videos that garnered over 1 million views. In phase two, an internal team created an illustrative postcard design to be displayed on Ctrip, China's largest travel booking agency, across 20 mobile adaptations.
